This morning Lou and I called the cable company because we were thinking of downgrading our package.  The helpful customer service girl told us that the package we were interested in is very popular with the senior citizens.  Fucking hell. In better news, I think

Thanksgiving & Rikki’s Birthday Party

I slept at Mom’s in Danville Friday night, and we had Thanksgiving dinner today.  It was easier to drive home from Maine and spend the night at Mom’s rather than drive all the way home and go back the next day. I took the Porsche,

Taco Night

Taco Night

Courtney Hidook invited me over for Taco Night, and I was really nervous about going to her place and being with a bunch of people I didn’t know.  I ended up going to The Lab on my way to her house, and we all ended up going to Courtneys together (Russell, Zack, Derrick, Nate etc.).  I met Courtney’s roommate Samantha, and a few of their friends, but out of the 8 or so of us, I was already friends with the vast majority of them and there were only like 3 people I didn’t know.  Small town. Samantha and I really got along, and will probably be friends for a long time.

extreme friendship

My Top 10 Favorite Things About The Jackal: 1.  You are the most honest person I have ever met.  Sometimes it’s outrageous.  Usually it’s just completely comforting.  I trust you more than anyone else in the world. 2.  You make me laugh.  Yes, sometimes at

Jordan & JJ’s Birthday

After work I went to dinner with Jordan and Sasha at Pacific Rim. Tanya gave us a ridiculous deal; the total for all 3 of us was $9.99! She’s so nice to me every time I go! I ran into Shannon & Jeff outside of

drinking for a cause is good (even if you’re not quite sure what the cause is)…

or if the drinks you are buying “count” towards the fundraiser.

The Whistlestop was a good time, as usual.  I finally met Kristie, who is Dylan’s wife.  I liked her a bunch, so hopefully we’ll hang out more.  Also met Don who is co-owner of subtext.  He’s nice but has some nervous energy that is a little weird.  Ran into Matt Stallings ( http://www.mattstallings.com ) who is a longtime friend of mine.  I’m 95% sure he is going to paint a picture of Ruca dressed up as a donkey as my Christmas present to myself.  I can’t stop thinking about it.  I love love LOVE his paintings, so it will be fantastic.  Julia came out for the night and it was good to see her.  I don’t see enough of her.  Matt, Abby, Kari, Brent Dylan, Kristi, Don, Lou and I went to El Camino (possbily the most amazing restaurant within 15 miles of my house) for drunk dinner.  Yum.

I’m shooting a wedding today and then flying a redeye home tonight.  It’s going to be hellish.  I have a 2 hour layover in Philly that I’m so not looking forward to.  I’m also not looking forward to getting off a plane and it being cold.  It’s been in the 70’s-80’s here for the past few days.

I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off to get everything done before I leave.  It’s not fun.

Pants is disgruntled about something, which is DUMB because I haven’t even talked to him in a few days.

I miss Bean already.

And Lou.

drunky drunkerson

I met Kara for a happy hour drink that turned into many happy hours of drinking.  It was good to see her, it’s been a long time!  Tonight Lou and I are meeting Dylan (owner of Subtext and designer of the flyer AND my logo!!!!),
