Worked today from 1 to 11. Had dinner with Rikki at Stone Soup, and then went back to the office. Added a new product line to the website, CME. Yesterday I added Colorkey. November sales ended up 11% over 2007, and so far sales are up 10% for the year. We are up 3% over the best year, 2006, so this could be the best year to date when December is said and done. I’m hoping. I certainly haven’t worked 75+ hours a week like this since the company was first started, so it better pay off. I’ve averaged 75 hours a week since August.
Talked to Rachel tonight on Google Video Chat. I’ve never been so impressed with free software before, it was AMAZING! We talked for 2 hours. I totally miss her, and 3 weeks is too long to go without talking to her.

So, somehow Luis convinced me that the two of us should come out of DJ retirement, and do a gig at the Half with 2 weeks notice. Neither of us have DJ equiment, and neither of us remember how to DJ. I ended up getting Traktor Pro from my guys at Native Instruments the day of the gig, and learned the basics within hours of the gig. We ended up using my laptop, and opened up a bunch of gear from my store to go along with it because we had no equipment. We both had no idea what we had for music, how to use the software, or if any of this stuff would work at the bar we were playing at, but we really didn’t have a choice, we kind of had to wing it. An hour before the party, I realized that we had nothing to even put our setup on, so I deconstructed Luis’ bathroom shelving stand and we used it as our DJ stand. It’s JUST US, we don’t care what anybody thinks anyway. We show up at gigs with bathroom shelving.
The event went off so well, tons of people, everyone danced, and people thanked us for doing it like nobody else does it. It was really fun.
Courtney drove me home, and spent the night. We ended up drinking (yet again) a bottle of wine when we got home, and stayed up till 4:30.
