Patch Sand Patch Sand

For the past 5 days I’ve been working on patching the ceiling and walls from where we removed the light fixtures.  I’ve been patching the holes and sanding the joint compound every night for like 3 hours.  Once I get it done, I have to paint the ceiling white, paint one wall brown, and another blue, and THEN I have to paint the accent walls black.  Should be a whole weekend project.  There are guys here all week removing and replacing the sprinkler heads in the condo as well, it’s a mess.

I’ve also been at Lowes every day for the past 7 days working on making my choices for the bathroom.  I’ve decided on a grey tile that’s going to be all of the walls and floors (above).  I might use the left over bamboo for the floor as well, not sure yet.  This bathroom project is going to SUCK becuase it’s my only bathroom.  I won’t have a toilet or shower for the entire project.  It’s taking me a remarkable amount of time and measurement, I have to decide on the length, width and height of the shower enclosure, the width and height of the custom glass shower door and panel, the width, depth and height of the vanity cabinet, the finish of the cabinet, the material for the countertop, the fixtures for the shower and sink, the lighting, the wall mirrors and medicine cabinet, and the 2 types of stone that will be used throughout.
