Tetanus Shot.

So I finally have a primary care physician, Scott Luria. He wasn’t taking new patients, but I was able to convince him to take me. I went in and basically told him everything about myself, what concerns me etc. He didn’t have any worry about

I’m a Genius.

I was reading Google News on my phone before bed Wednesday night, and saw an article that said that options traders were afterhours trading on speculation that RIMM (The manufacturer of Blackberry) would have a positive earnings surprise on their earnings report due out the

And yet again.

And yet again.

So I leave tomorrow morning for Miami.

My insurance company only pays for a rental car for 30 days, and called this morning to tell me I have to return it by Wednesday, which means I had to return it today. Upon returning it, they saw the damage from where someone did a hit & run, and told me that I’d have to open ANOTHER claim with my insurance company, pay the $500 deductible, and have it repaired. I did. I asked them to drop me off downtown where I store the Porsche so I’d have a vehicle to get to the airport and to do errands today. When I got there, the car was completely dead. The hoods won’t open, the doors won’t open, and the car won’t start. I call Porsche and they tell me that Porsches cannot be left for more than 7-10 days, or the battery will die, and needs to be replaced with a new one ($400) every time. The computer systems constantly check themselves, so you can’t even go on a quick vacation unless you either plug the vehicle into an outlet, or you totally remove the battery.

They had to send 2 tow trucks to get the car, one to extract it from the parking garage, and a flatbed to get it back to the dealership.  Now I have no vehicle at all, both are out of comission for a week or longer.

I worked a little today, not much to do on Fridays.  Sasha is sick, and sounds like she has what I have. I still have a really sore throat, and late at night my cough gets really bad.  My doctor prescribed me an Albuterol inhaler,

Chad’s in Town

I went to Sneakers for breakfast with Wyatt. After, I walked to work because it was 55 degrees and sunny; but by 6:00 it was 30 degrees, and I didn’t have a coat, so I couldn’t walk home. I hung out in the studio and

It’s like I’m taking five steps forward, and ten steps back…

Life isn’t working for me lately, I can’t figure out why…and I’m STILL sick.  Not even slightly better.

I worked today from noon to 7.  It was remarkably slow, so slow that Kimberly left at 4 and Sasha at 5.

I finally talked to Sarah for the first time in way too long, I haven’t been able to talk on the phone to anyone because it hurts to talk. Ugh. I’m so sick of being sick!!

I spent most of this evening talking back and forth via email to Maryam Wakman in DC, I love that new friend feeling, it’s exciting. We must have sent about 50 emails back and forth for about 2 hours.

Stock Picks

The stock market has had a 10% gain in the past week. Last week I bought SGP and sold it 4 days later at a 9% gain.  Today, I bought MICROSOFT and BUCKLE. I really need to actively trade during the small bull runs the

Sick for 3 Weeks

Today I woke up sick, again.  I’ve had a sore throat, cough, headache, and trouble breathing for 3 weeks.  I walked to the doctor, and she soesn’t really know what’s wrong.  She prescribed an albuterol inhaler, thinking I may have asthma.  She wants me to

What’s the Point

I’m feeling really weird about life lately. Every day to me is the same, and it’s almost like I’m entirely alone. Every day I go to work, then I go home, alone, and sit here, with nothing to do, and nobody to talk to. Nobody calls me, and unless I go to a bar (by myself), I see nobody for weeks on end.

I often think about how my life here and now would be identical to me living in a cabin in the middle of nowhere; I’d see and talk to the same number of people, and I’d feel just as lonely and pointless as I do now.

When I look in the mirror, I feel bad about how I look. I look at photos of myself from 2007 and wonder why I can’t look like that now, and how my lifestyle/diet has only improved, yet I feel like I look 80 years older!

The First Steps Towards Making My Life Savings Back

On Monday I bought 400 shares of SGP (Schering-Plough Corporation) at 19.87 and today sold them at $23.21, a 9% gain in 4 days. $1373 profit on day trading, only another half of a million dollars to go to get back to where I was
