New Interns

At work today, Luis called me into his office and said he had someone he wanted me to meet. He had one of his interns bring her roommate in to talk to me about interning for me. She’s a marketing major, and is taking internet marketing classes, so it would be perfect for both her and myself, and Luis and I can share the interns between our companies, because we both overlap in many areas.

Sasha and I talked about what she should do when she comes back to work full time in January…basically, we aren’t busy enough anymore to support a staff of 3, so unless the economy does a 180 in 30 days, I doubt I can have her work full time anymore. As of today, sales are down 28%.

I’ve had a permanent headache for a month, it really never goes away. Clearly, it’s caused by stress, which I doubt is likely to change anytime soon, as the entire whole of the world’s markets crashed today in mass panic, on the anniversary of bloody Friday, the market crash of 1929.

After work, I stayed and worked a lot on the website. I cleaned up some code, and worked on organizing the Odyssey product line, which Vanessa and I have been working on daily for a week straight. By Monday, I hope to have the entire line accurately represented on the site and in all advertising channels.
