MTL

Sunday Pat, Shannon, Francis, Lisa, Brian, Rebekka, Andy & Josie and I drove to Montreal, in a snowstorm.  The drive takes 1 hour and 35 minutes.  This one took us 3.5 hours because we got stuck behind 3 plows that drove side-by-side and took up all 3 lanes, for 2 HOURS. They literally would not go out of their side-by-side formation for 2 hours straight, and hundreds of cars built up following them. It was a total nightmare!

We had dinner reservations at The Blue Nile for 7:00 and arrived at 9. Thievery Corporation was from 9-12, we got to the show at 11. It didn’t go as planned, at all. Brian and Rebekka drove off the highway into a ditch, and a tow truck had to pull them out. We all still had fun though, and nobody complained. We went to the Blue Dog after, for a drink. I drove, and was EXHAUSTED from the stress of driving in really bad conditions, both ways.

Lisa Bell spent the night at my place, and flew back to Alberta Monday.
