NYE 2009

On New Years Eve I was supposed to be at the bar at 7 to set up. At 6:30 I still didn’t even have a DJ mixer to play on.  At the last minute, I opened up one of the mixers that I sell, and ran to the Half Lounge to try to piece something together. I spent about 2 hours at the bar trying to get my laptop and mixer to work together, and to learn how to DJ using the mixer I had grabbed. LOL. I basically had told Pat that if I couldn’t get it to work, he was going to be playing alone all night and I was just going to party. By 10:00 I had it all worked out, for the most part, and was able to play an hour set from 10:30-11:30, and another one from 1 to 1:30. People loved it, everyone was dancing, cheering, and waving at me, so I guess they liked it.

I think I was the only person in the bar who didn’t get a kiss at midnight.

After we were done, I went over to JJ’s apartment with Sasha, Kimberly and Francis. We got really really drunk (most people were far more drunk than us) and it was pretty fun from what I’ve seen in photos. Kimberly stole fireworks from Rugger and set them off outside of JJ’s bedroom. We took a cab home at 6AM, and I woke up the next day at 6PM.
