Wow, Really??
Saturday night Courtney called to see what I was up to. I was hoping that since she went home after dinner Friday, that she would want to hang out Saturday night. She was kind of shy and awkward on the phone, and it was definitely not typical of her. We talked for about a half hour, and eventually it seemed that she didn’t intend on coming over. Then she said “So Todd wants me to agree to be in a committed relationship with him”. I was like…”umm, who is Todd and what are you talking about?” She then explained to me that a guy in Afghanistan whom she talks to on the phone every day, told her that he wants her to commit to him and nobody else. Evidently, she wasn’t dating this guy to begin with, but from 8,000 miles away, he decided that they should be, and she agreed. I was a bit speechless. I told her that I’m not sure what she wants me to say about that, considering we’d been dating for a month and she never mentioned that she was basically dating some guy on the phone at the same time. I told her I wanted to get off the phone because I couldn’t think of what to say; I haven’t heard from her since.
Clearly, after Bridgette, Heidi, and Courtney all doing the same shit to me, I’m obviously not dating material?? Maybe I’m like one of those slutty girls that everyone thinks is cute and likes to sleep with, but would never date. Whatever the issue is, clearly it’s me because the chances are slim that this would happen 3 times in 1 year.

It’s not depressing, it’s an opportunity for you to meet someone you actually want to be with. You said from the beginning that she was just a seasonal GF. You deserve much, much more. Stop dating girls who are so young and immature. Move to CA and date Rachel for fucks sake.
Rachel already told me we are nothing but just friends. Same as the rest of them. Courtney is nice, and I was beginning to get attached. You can tell me how dumb I was about Bridgette, that’s fine, there is nothing wrong with Courtney. Rachel is more fucked up than Courtney.
oh, and now what am I going to do with all of the extra-small shirts I bought her for Christmas. ugh.
CLEARLY it’s the girls you choose to date. I don’t care how “normal” you say Courtney is. She’s OBVIOUSLY not. I mean, CMON! Who does that?!?!
I want you to start dating girls your own age, who are single, who don’t lie and don’t have a boyfriend in jail. Those need to become your prerequisites for dating. Until that happens you are going to continue to deal with this kind of bullshit drama. If that’s what you want, then ok. I’ll be here to comfort you through the melodrama and emo facebook postings. If you want to know if the next girl you are interested in is worth the time, Call Me. I’ll be able to tell you within ten minutes of hearing you talk about her.
Find me a girl my age with the body of a 24 year old, and I’ll try it.
