Life in 2001; Courtesy of LiveJournal

I received an email from LiveJournal.com today reminding me that I had an account with them.  I had no idea what the site was, so I logged in to check it.  Evidently I have an account, and have had one since 2001.  Evidently it’s a blogging/journal software platform, but I (ironically enough) forgot that I had a journal on it that I had started in 2001 so that I wouldn’t forget what I had been doing every day.

There were 12 posts in the journal, not one word of which I recall writing. I’ve imported them into WordPress chronologically.

    It is so incredible to me that you haven’t changed at all. I love that.

    I also approve of the new layout, and that picture of the two of us gives me warm fuzzies (even though I look like I have a giant head and wish we could take a better picture of the two of us at the beach today).

    I feel a little guilty sometimes that I care for you as much as I do, and that we have the friendship that we do. It feels a little like I’m betraying Lou somehow. But I can’t imagine things being any different and I would never want to choose between our friendship and any relationship. It’s a grey area I guess.
